TUNA REDEFINED
Three decades of commitment to providing quality tuna products
THREE DECADES OF QUALITY PRODUCTS
Established in 1993, Pescador Sea Trading along with its offshoot corporation launched in 2008, GS Pescador Seatrading, has grown to become one of the most consistent and dependable sources of premium yellowfin tuna. We work tirelessly to ensure that our products are of the highest quality, with our methods and practices accredited by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (Philippines) and the United States Food and Drug Administration.
From our humble beginnings that started in the local markets of General Santos City, to becoming one of the key players in the tuna industry, every step of our journey has been fueled by our commitment to providing world-class products to our partners across the globe, while protecting our oceans for the future generations to come.

Stewardship and sustainability
We are spearheading the first Fisheries Improvement Project
(FIP) in Mindanao, working closely with the local fishing
communities and other private stakeholders to improve
current fishing practices and manage our fisheries more
sustainably.
Truly encompassing the principles of sustainability, our business model ascertains every gram of tuna is maximized, making sure even the bones and other entrails end up to a matching consumer. Very little to no amount goes to waste!

PEOPLE, PROCESS, AND FACILITIES
At the core of our pursuit of excellence lies the principle of mutual respect and the Tagalog word: "Malasakit" which translates to "Nurture". Our processing facilities were designed and equipped with our employees' safety and comfort in mind. Through fostering a harmonious blend of skilled individuals, efficient processes, and advanced facilities, we ensure that our employees' well-being translates into the production of quality tuna products.
QUALITY CONTROL
We have a Quality Assurance team dedicated in making sure every step in our process flow adheres to proper food safety standards. Regular sensory evaluation and laboratory tests are done to ensure product integrity. Packaging requirements and other logistical necessities have to be checked and approved by our Quality Assurance team to make sure our products stay within a safe temperature range while in transit to consumers.
